The Challenger MT800B Series tractors are designed from the ground up to deliver optimum power and manoeuvrability on tracks, and are the perfect mix of intelligence and strength.

Beneath that big, powerful exterior, the industry’s most sophisticated electronic operating systems are working, all linked together by the innovative IntellitronicsTM network.

Electronic control modules on the engine, powertrain, hydraulics, hitch and other components continuously “talk to each other” and share performance data via the Intellitronics CANBUS network.

This enables the tractors to monitor and analyse performance through the Tractor Management Centre (TMC), perform repetitive tasks with the One-TouchTM management system, interface with GPS-based systems like the optional Auto-GuideTM satellite navigation system and communicate with and control implements based on the ISO11783 system.

The Intellitronics network also commands the Power Management System, to maximise the powertrain function to match every application.

This makes the Challenger MT800B Series tractors the most powerful and sophisticated machines available.

Tractor Management Centre
Challenger’s unique Tractor Management Centre (TMC) puts the operator in command with intuitive controls and at-a-glance performance information... all within easy reach for fingertip control. Most importantly, the TMC console is incorporated into the right-hand armrest, which means it moves with the seat.

Vital performance and diagnostic information is shown in an easy-to-read text format using the TMC display screen. Turn the rotary function selector to review efficiency and attainment or optimise settings.

New electronic features on the MT800B Series TMC allow the operator to set the default starting gear and monitor the tension pressure exerted on each track belt.

Manage The Power
The Power Management function works through the Intellitronics network to perform tractor functions most efficiently. Operated with the Tractor Management Centre (TMC), Power Management varies engine and transmission settings to optimise the tractor’s power, speed, fuel efficiency and productivity.

One-TouchTM Control
The One-Touch management system can record and execute a myriad of repeated functions - such as transmission shifting, or activating hydraulic valves to raise and lower an implement - with the simple push of a button.

The One-Touch “Shift Mode” can make multiple gearshifts at the push of a button. In shift mode, the One-Touch rocker switch allows the operator to up or downshift a user pre-selected 1, 2, 3 or 4 gears for faster transport and quicker turn-around.
