Flexible application vehicle

The RoGator 618 is the ideal host vehicle for medium to large scale farmers and contractors who don’t wish to compromise on performance. A key point with the Multi-Carrier, as its name suggests, is its versatility and ability to carry a range of equipment for spreading and spraying.

There is also now a growing need for larger, 5,000-litre capacity vehicles for applying liquid fertiliser and sprays. The robust RoGator 618 is designed to not only handle these heavy loads, but also provide the power and transmission for high-speed applications for the field performance required for fast and accurate applications.

Engine provides peak performance

Powered by a 225hp Caterpillar 7.2-litre, 3126B engine, the RoGator 618 utilises about only half of the machine’s transmission design capability, even when fully laden, offering maximum performance and reliability in the field with long-term durability.

A rugged four-speed hydrostatic transmission ensures engine power is translated into effective traction on the ground. The twin-pump system drives each wheel motor diagonally across the chassis. Equipped with individual wheel motors, the system not only has the power to pull up steep hills, it can technically tow loads weighing up to 16t (dependant on local market regulations).

Efficient transmission for optimum performance

Transmission durability is enhanced with high specification hydraulic pumps and wheel motors, which are fitted with ‘MS35’ wheel bearings, designed specifically for longevity when carrying heavy loads for prolonged periods. This is important, because, carrying loads such as 5,000 litres of liquid fertiliser requires a robust chassis and careful consideration of tyre choice.

Adjustable track width plus facility to fit wide tyre choice

The RoGator 618 is available with a wide range of wheel equipment, up to 750mm wide tyres, to suit all ground conditions, whether early or late in the season, as well as offering up to 1.17m clearance under the chassis. Adjustable track width from 1.8m to 2.25m ensures the vehicle is able to work in a wide range of applications.

Hydraulic front axle- and mechanical rear-suspension improves comfort and helps boom stability when working on rough ground. There is also the option of pneumatic suspension for the rear, to further improve comfort and handling.

Top specification cab offers unrivalled comfort and control

The RoGator 618’s cab is the best on the market, offering the ultimate in comfort and ergonomic control layout. The cab is fully pressurised with carbon filters and has full climate control. The single joystick on the side console controls not only the vehicle’s speed and direction, but also application equipment as well. A range of joystick controls are offered to suit the task and controller.

RoGator 618 output is further boosted by the Auto-Guide self-steering system - a genuine cost-reducing option. Auto-Guide uses automatically steers the vehicle in precise, straight lines for parallel tracking down to an accuracy of 2cm, depending on GPS signal.
