The spacious cab on the CH647C combine provides superior comfort for the operator during the long harvest season, with heating and air conditioning as standard.

An air-suspended seat, large front window and up to 12 working lights ensure optimum visibility. Operators also have a clear view behind through a large glass rear window, allowing them to see into the grain tank for a quick and easy check of the sample quality.

An ergonomically designed armrest console and console are fitted to the seat, which includes controls for threshing, unloading and opening and closing the grain tank covers. The multi-function lever allows precise control of the hydrostatic drive.

All important combine settings are displayed on the AGRITRONIC Plus information and control system including the concave front- and rear-opening adjustments. This comprehensive system can be used for example, to monitor the drum or fan speed, cutting height and grain losses.

The CH647C combine can be equipped with either a FreeFlow or PowerFlow table, both of which enable optimum crop feed.


The FreeFlow table is available in working widths from 4.80 m to 7.60 m. Designed for harvesting a wide variety of crops, the rugged FreeFlow table consists of a welded frame to which bolt-on panels are mounted. If required, these maintenance-friendly panels can be easily replaced.

A high-speed cutterbar with 1254 cuts per minute ensures a clean cut. The crop is then fed into a large 610mm diameter table auger with feathering fingers along its entire length to ensure even distribution of the crop as it is fed into the main crop elevator.

All table and reel adjustments are made using the multi-function lever in the cab. AutoLevel and automatic cutting height control are standard on all machines to optimise table performance on differing terrain. A multi-coupler is fitted as standard to keep turnaround time to a minimum.


The PowerFlow table solves the problem of difficult-to-harvest crops such as peas, rape and rye and laid wheat and barley.

A continuous belt feed gathers crop, reduces losses and presents an even head first crop flow. Tests have shown that output can be increased by up to 73% in difficult conditions with PowerFlow.

The Auto Level table control automatically adjusts the table to uneven ground contours. You can select the desired cutting height with the Terra Control automatic cutting height control.

A high-capacity rape auger is optional to provide extra output in tall crops.

Table widths available from 5.5m–6.2m

A robust, high-inertia 600mm diameter cylinder and a heavy-duty concave guarantees perfect threshing results in the majority of crops, even under difficult harvesting conditions.

Eight counter-rotating rasp bars guarantee effective crop separation during the threshing process.

The concave has differentiated wire spacing which provides the optimum balance between high threshing capacity and good grain flow through the concave. Independent adjustment of the front and rear of the concave is via electric controls in the cab. This makes it possible for the operator to set the concave to the optimum position to suit the conditions, or to work with the concave in the parallel position when required.

Once through the cylinder, customers have a choice of how to further separate the crop starting with the straightforward addition of the Active Beater Concave (ABC) - providing 14 degrees of additional concave wrap.

For more versatility, the Multi-Crop Separator (MCS) plus with Power Feed Roller provides the best separation while remaining gentle on straw.

The CH647C combine is powered by the latest generation Stage IIIB AGCO POWER engines with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) and DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst). These electronically controlled engines deliver the power needed for consistent and efficient harvesting in all conditions.

The benefit is approximately 10% less fuel consumption compared to previous versions plus the confidence that the engines are working as environmentally-friendly as possible within the regulations. As with other similar systems, these SCR engines require the use of AdBlue Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) which is placed in a separate 80 litre tank next to the main fuel tank.

The centralised cooling system is easily accessed for maintenance. Filling levels for the cooling and hydraulic systems can be seen externally and the large side panels of the combine can be lifted for access to both sides of the combine.
