20/07/2011 Golden delivery for Italy’s 500th Challenger tracked tractor
Challenger celebrated the sale of its 500th tracked tractor in Italy with the delivery of a special MT765C in gold-painted livery.
The tractor was handed over to delighted new owner, contractor and farmer Luigi Gulinelli from San Bartolomeo, at a ceremony at Challenger’s headquarters in Parma on 18 July.
A long-term fan of the tracked concept, this is Cavalier Gulinelli’s 6th Challenger. He bought his first model – an MT765 - from dealer Reni Macchine of Bologna in 2005 and this strong business relationship still continues today.
“Italy is one of the key markets for Challenger machines in Europe,” says Andrea Tavernari, Challenger Brand Manager. “The brand claims over 75% share of the Italian tracked tractor market and a 23% of the country’s total market for all tractors in the 270-570hp segment.”
