The Terra-Gator 2104 Track Dumper combines power and capacity to tackle the jobs that wheeled dumpers can't. With a track contact area of 7 square-meters and a top speed of 25 km/h, even at times of year when wheeled machines struggle, the Terra-Gator still performs. Engine & Transmission
The Terra-Gator 2104 Track Dumper is equipped with a turbo-charged 8.1 litre DPS 6081H diesel engine which delivers 300 hp with a peak of up to 325 hp.
Terra-Shift transmission with Select-Shift offers 10 forward and 3 reverse speeds.
Operator Environment
The track dumper is fitted with a spacious, quiet, wide view cab with integrated emergency steering and an an air-suspended seat for maximum operator comfort.. The cabs are air conditioned, pressurised and fitted with a three-level filtering system to seal out dust, chemicals and other contaminants.
Manoeuvrability
The Terra-Gator 2104 Track Dumper has articulated steering ensuring high manoeuvrability and a very tight turning radius. The high manouvrabiltiy provides a quick positioning for loading or unloading. Combined with the tracks, the articulated driveline also provides exceptional grip on sloping ground.
Tipperbox
With a water volume of 12 cubic-meters, the Terra-Gator has a maximum payload of 18 tons, offering the ideal combination of loading capacity and vehicle weight.
The tipperbox has sloping sidewalls and a tipping angle of 65º, which is reached in just 16 seconds and provides safe and achievable unloading in all circumstances. Lowering the tipperbox also takes 16 seconds, with the speed being reduced at the last 10% of the descent, to avoid bouncing the frame.
Tracks
The rubber tracks are suited to all soil types, particularly in wet peat soils and marshy regions.
The triangular shaped tracks provide the Terra-Gator with a large ground-clearence, keeping the under-carriadge high above muddy tracks and they are driven by the rod-principle, providing maximum traction in all conditions. With a large footprint of 1.72 square-meters per track, the TerraGator has an extremely light footprint of just 0.5 kg/cm² (fully loaded), resulting in less soil damage and fewer tracks.
