Marathon Men!

Congratulations to Challenger’s Pascal Le Couëdic and Richard Miller who both recently completed marathons and lived to tell the tale!

Already a veteran of the La Rochelle and Vannes marathons, Pascal clocked up a time of 3 hours and 41 mins to run the 42.195 km (26 miles). This was despite suffering a knee injury just two weeks before the race. Richard, not a regular runner, recorded a time of 5 hours 25 mins which gained him 30,598 place out of over 37,000.
 
“I was really exhausted at the end but so happy!" says Pascal of his run. “In fact, I’m raring to do another one next year.” 

Comments Richard, who raised over £2500 for the Miscarriage Association through his efforts: “It was truly a tremendous day, full of every emotion possible. I would recommend it to anyone.”
